A Midland, Texas based Independent Oil & Gas Company is seeking a

full-time Controller.

Responsible for all financial, accounting and tax information for several entities with preparation of financial analyses of operations, including financial statements and supporting documents that will drive business decisions on a daily basis.

Responsible for the complete and accurate preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements, profitability reports and budgets which includes monitoring performance and operating results.

Supervise accounting staff and ensure accurate preparation of all accounting data and performance of all responsibilities including revenue distribution, joint interest billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger, meeting monthly deadlines.

Other responsibilities include preparation of agreements, lease rentals/minimum royalty, tax information, gas contracts, master service agreements and purchase/sale of properties closing documents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 2 to 5 years of oil and gas accounting/management and financial analysis experience
• Proficiency in all Microsoft programs and working knowledge of oil and gas software (Integra/OGAS) preferred
