The Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and College of Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh seeks applications for an anticipated tenure track Assistant Professor position in Accounting starting Fall 2024 or sooner. This position is contingent on budgetary approval and upon authorization to work in the United States.

We seek rookie or experienced assistant professor candidates, but preference will be given to qualified experienced candidates.

Minimum Qualifications for Rookie Candidates:

* Ph.D. (or equivalent international degree) in accounting or related field as of the start of the position.

* Evidence of, or potential for, strong experimental research skills and commitment to publishing quality research in top accounting journals.

  • Evidence of, or potential for, high-quality teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.

Minimum Qualifications for Experienced Candidates:

* Ph.D. (or equivalent international degree) in accounting or related field as of the start of the position.

* A demonstrated track record of publishing experimental research in top academic journals.

* A strong research pipeline demonstrating a commitment to continue publishing in top academic journals.

* Evidence of high-quality teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
