The Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences is seeking an Administrative Coordinator responsible for processing travel expense reimbursements, advance settlements, One Card and Panther Express purchases, professional service contract agreements, department website and digital board updates, act as a liaison with the events team and University marketing team, organization of space allocation, working with facilities management as well as general office and student worker oversight.
This position will serve as a liaison between the department(s) and the Humanities Division Business Office, the Dietrich School Dean’s Office, the Dietrich School Payroll and Sponsored Projects Teams, the Social Sciences Events Team, University Facilities Management and various University Business Offices. As well as Provide comparable service and back-up to other Dietrich School departments as needed.
Job Summary
Performs administrative assistant support work of moderate complexity.
Essential Functions
The successful candidate will use a computer extensively. They must be capable of oral, written, and electronic communications. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. In addition to a computer, they must be able to use a telephone and other general office equipment including but not limited to fax machines, photocopiers, scanners, printers, etc.
Physical Effort
This position is generally sedentary within an office setting, but the ability to travel around campus is occasionally necessary. Also, must be able to pick-up and carry 25 pounds.
