Brief Summary of Work for this Position
Are you interested in building your portfolio and resume to showcase your front-end web development skills? Do you have a good eye for layout design and usability?
This position will work with the division's web communications specialist to support alumni engagement and digital philanthropy initiatives. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate who is passionate about digital design, particularly front-end development, and interested in gaining hands-on experience. Students in this position have the opportunity to research and pitch ideas, develop skills in areas of interest and collaborate in the production of new, wide-reaching digital initiatives.
Daily responsibilities include creating, testing, troubleshooting and maintaining digital content such as web pages, interactive digital elements and emails.

- Familiar with JavaScript and jQuery
- Experience with development and design tools such as Adobe Dreamweaver, XD and Photoshop
- Familiar with digital design principles and accessibility best practices
- Knowledge of email marketing best practices a plus
