Job Description
The University of Missouri School of Music invites applications for a full-time Admission Coordinator. This role offers an opportunity to join a dynamic team, overseeing both the undergraduate and graduate recruitment, selection, and admission process for the School of Music. We are seeking a highly articulate to leads and implement goals for recruitment and admissions as well as develop admission policies and procedures to further the goals and objectives of the university and school.
In consultation with faculty administrators, the Admission Coordinator is also responsible for developing a cohesive admission and recruitment strategy encompassing a wide range of responsibilities and may include the following tasks:
· Oversee recruitment strategy for the School of Music;
· Assist with event planning for on-site recruiting events;
· Communicate and meet with prospective students and their families;
· Work with the MU Admissions Office on campus-wide recruiting and admission activities;
· Work with College of Arts & Science staff on logistics of admission notification;
· Serve as scholarship coordinator; and
· Work effectively with faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community partners.
Shift
8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. with occasional weekends; fully in-person
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience recruiting and working with international students
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $16.92 - $26.34/Hour
