Job Description
The research technician will take care of the lab mouse colony, including performing routine daily check and genotyping; assist other lab members with experimental troubleshooting; assist in general lab maintenance, organization and record keeping. The research technician should be familiar with techniques such as: injections to mice, mouse tissue dissections, PCR, and DNA gel-electroporation.
Shift
Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $14.51 - $19.50 hourly
Grade: GGS - 006
