Job Description

The University of Missouri, Department of Radiology, is expanding and searching for a full-time faculty member, board certified in Radiology and fellowship trained in Thoracic or CardioThoracic radiology. All ranks and tenure or non-tenure tracks. The appointee will have responsibilities in cardiopulmonary radiology including conventional radiographs with a full complement of advanced imaging including CT and MRI. Involvement in a variety of multidisciplinary conferences is expected. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Faculty members have dedicated academic time and will have the opportunity to assist in the growth of the radiologic services, as well as participate in research and scholarly activities. The University of Missouri-Columbia is a level 1 trauma center and the imaging equipment is state-of-the-art. Approximately 300,000 exams are performed each year serving the University Hospital & Clinics, Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, and Women's and Children's Hospital. The department also has an Imaging Center with MRI, US, CT and X-Ray capabilities.
