-Must be able to work holidays and weekends as needed.
-Must be willing to jump in to fill in shifts as needed.
-We are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Shop Crew 2 Member to join our small family business. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. As a Shop Crew 2 Member, you will be responsible for serving our delicious ice cream, treats, cocktails, and other delicious offerings to our customers.. You will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, handle cash transactions, and ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed.

This POSITION IS SEASONAL – APRIL 15 – AUGUST 31, 2024.
Candidate may reapply at the end of the season if they would like
to stay on the team and a position is available.

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
-Exemplifies the Crank and Boom Mission Statement (Create Joy,
Ignite Laughter, Inspire Compassion).
-Provide exceptional service.
-Prepare ice cream, sundaes, cocktails, drinks, and other dessert
related offerings for customers.
-Responsible for the cleanliness, organization, and
presentability of the shop.
-Other Duties/Responsibilities as assigned by the Shift Leader on
duty.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: THE COMPANY WILL PAY FOR YOUR
CERTIFICATION.

-Food Handler Permit (Fayette County)
-Alcohol Server Training Certification
-Must be 20+ years of age
CANDIDATES THAT ARE 16 YEARS OLD AND OLDER CAN APPLY FOR THE SHOP
CREW 1 POSITION. Same requirements except no Alcohol Serving
Certification is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-Must be able to lift or move up to 30 lbs
-Must be able to stand and walk for 6-8 hours
-Occasionally may be required to sit for long periods of time
-Must be able to reach with hands and arms and use hands for
manual dexterity
-Specific vision abilities required include close vision,
distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
