Business Systems Analyst
Description
Provide application-level expertise, bridging the gap between the user and Application Development staff. Perform project management and business analysis activities on projects. Scope, document and capture business and system requirements; document potential technical solutions. Analyze business policies and processes and translate into detailed requirements for hand-off to the development team.
Essential Functions
1. Work directly with end-users, project managers, and business leaders to identify requirements. Must have the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management.
2. Research and analyze system needs, train users on software, help troubleshoot reported issues, develop and write procedure documentation, and conduct quality assurance testing before implementation.
3. Demonstrate an understanding of underlying business processes across the District.
4. Review software patches and updates to determine impact on operations.
5. Develop test scripts and lead the testing of system applications.
6. Interact with technical support personnel when reporting and troubleshooting issues. Serve as liaison between users and IT.
7. Continually increase understanding of supported systems' technical capabilities and how to better utilize those systems to meet business requirements.
8. Work with the Application Development team in the technical support of multiple enterprise applications.
9. Manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects simultaneously, as well as adapt to changes in direction.
10. Provide Colleague, CRM, and SharePoint support to users at a second tier or expert level in the systems' functionality and the interrelationship of system modules.
11. Working closely with end-users, manage and track business and system issues from discovery to resolution.
12. Perform tasks and duties relevant to any of various roles or responsibilities assigned by supervision and determined by management to be appropriate for this position; comply with all policy, procedure, regulation and other communicated requirements as may be in effect for the workgroup or worksite.
Position Requirements
Four to six (4-6) years experience in business process & project management in a school or university environment or related field is required.

Salary Schedule Information Technology
Hiring Range $54,390 - $62,070 annually dependent on experience and education, plus additional $6,900 compensation for salary-in-lieu of dependent benefit coverage.

We are an independent public school district, with multiple campuses in and around the Tulsa County area.
