Job Summary
Provide subject matter expertise related to regulatory compliance within higher education payroll and procurement while implementing best practices. Serve internal and external stakeholders and ensure compliance with all state and federal agencies.
This is a Safety Sensitive position pursuant to Oklahoma Statute OKLA. STAT. tit. 63, § 427.8 (2020).
Essential Duties
1. Provide operational oversight of the procurement and payroll services of the College.
2. Work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure exceptional oversight of College procurement policies.
3. Provide oversight for preparation of College payroll reports (multi-state).
4. Ensure business policies, processes, and services are developed and executed to advance the strategic mission of the College in accordance with federal, state, and College guidelines.
5. Assist in investigation, development, and implementation of potential College-wide cost savings initiatives to help advance affordability and accessibility.
6. Serve as a member of the Finance and Business leadership team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 7 or more years of senior-level finance and reporting experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Ability to think strategically and translate strategic plans into action.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong emotional intelligence and commitment to organizational engagement.
- Commitment and ability to successfully advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
