Job Summary:
Responsible for the daily management and operation of the financial aid processing center student eligibility division. Provide daily oversight of staff, time management, training and mentoring and performance evaluation. Additional duties include daily operational tasks processing federal student aid applications.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required in one of the behavioral sciences, public or business administration or a job related field.
Three years related experience.
Ability to read and interpret Title IV federal student aid regulations and apply them to college processes as appropriate.
Knowledge of principles of principles of supervision, operations, and training, including management of a complex, multi-staff environment.
Operational knowledge of computer programs including skills in Word, Excel, Access, COD, NSLDS, IFAP, and FAA access to CPS online.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to, and the ability to work with diverse populations.
Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records and meeting minutes.
Ability to effectively communicate, orally and in writing, with students,
faculty, staff, and the general public.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive communications with students, parents, employees and external agencies.
Ability to identify conflict, problem solve, and resolve student problems and
concerns in the most efficient manner possible.
Ability to use initiative and resourcefulness in planning work assignments and in implementing long-range program improvements.
Ability to carry out very complex assignments without detailed instructions.
Ability to analyze and define complex organizational, policy or procedural problems, collect and evaluate data, draw valid conclusions and project consequences of various alternative courses of action.
Preferred Qualifications:
Starting Salary Range: $19.98/hour -$22.86

Monday- Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
