Job Summary
The School of Liberal Arts & Communication is seeking an Assistant Professor for Sociology to begin Fall 2022.
The Assistant Professor has the primary responsibility of instruction in the classroom for students enrolled in Sociology courses, as well as ensuring the success and retention of students while maintaining high academic standards.

7. Serve the college and community as an active contributing professional.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in appropriate field of study required with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the discipline.
Professional certification may be substituted for the Master's Degree in highly specialized disciplines.
Philosophy compatible with that of a comprehensive urban community college.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferences for candidates with specialization in Anthropology and/or Sociology of Families.
