Job Summary
TCC Digital Media is currently seeking well-rounded applicants that are professionally active in the field of graphic design to begin fall 2022. The successful applicant will help students prepare for the creative workforce by offering cutting-edge instruction on industry-standard tools and practices. Candidates must be technologically up-to-date on the applications contained within the Adobe Creative Cloud and willing to uphold the principles, history, and practices of design in their instruction. Fostering a practiced creative methodology and technical aptitude, this candidate will guide students through the completion of commercially relevant creative briefs with the goal of building competitive and workforce-relevant portfolios.
Teaching responsibilities within the program may include instruction in courses such as Digital Foundations 1: Adobe Photoshop, Digital Foundations 2: Adobe Illustrator, Digital Foundations 3: Adobe InDesign, Digital Photography/Video, Digital illustration, Interaction Design, 3D, Mixed Reality/AR, Motion Graphics, 2D/3DAnimation, Typography, and other graphic design related courses.
Essential Duties

Minimum Qualifications
Master's of Arts in Photography, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Motion, Animation, Illustration, Film/Video or related field.
Two years of successful teaching.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Specifically Photoshop, Lightroom, Animate and Dreamweaver).
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse student and faculty groups.
Evidence of commitment to excellence in teaching and design.
Preferred Qualifications
Two years of successful full-time teaching undergraduates.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Active participation in shared governance process in an educational setting.
Advising/mentoring experience with undergraduate students.
