Job Summary
Responsible for assisting with the development of and implementation of the College's student recruitment and admission strategy. The Admission Counselor identifies prospective students, represents TCC at recruitment events, and provides follow-up to prospective students.
This is a Safety Sensitive position pursuant to Oklahoma Statute OKLA. STAT. tit. 63, § 427.8 (2020).
Essential Duties
Provide initial contact and share TCC information with prospective students; function in a lead capacity over staff employees on a regular basis, but not as direct supervisor. May assign, schedule and monitor the work of staff.
Develop and maintain contacts with high school counselors and other constituents who may assist with recruitment.
Counsel applicants regarding the admission process and procedures.
Provide input into the development and implementation of the College's student recruitment strategy.
Assist in the development and implementation of the recruiting schedule and special programs.
Develop and accomplish annual recruitment objectives/goals.
Perform data entry of applicant information.
Perform other duties related to the position as required or directed.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Marketing, Business or a related field.
One year work experience required.
Must have valid driver's license.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and public speaking abilities
