The following position is available with the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education.

Leadership & Professional Development Manager

Provide leadership and support to the staff in Leadership and Professional Development. Manage the design and implementation of training activities for CareerTech and academic teachers, teacher educators, administrators, counselors, and agency staff. Supervise the division staff. Support a positive working environment and successful employee experience. Provide quality customer service to all stakeholders.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience • Three years supervision, coordination, or teaching

PREFERRED: • Master's degree • Teaching certificate • Knowledge of the CareerTech system

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate and execute statewide leadership, professional, and teacher development programs provided by the agency. Promote the services of Leadership and Professional Development. Plan, develop and coordinate implementation of the division vision, mission, and goals consistent with system business plan. Supervise the Professional Development staff. Provide guidance to strategic planning and continuous improvement processes. Manage functions associated with the ODCTE’s statutory requirements for providing board member training opportunities and records management. Monitor the budget of the Leadership and Professional Development division to ensure fiscal responsibility. ? Monitor the status of annual agreements, partnerships, and licenses in collaboration with Financial Services staff. Collaborate with managers and senior leaders in support of the agency vision and mission

Salary/Benefits: $66,375.50 - $74,861.82 commensurate with education or experience. Total salary and benefits package valued at $80,865.40 - $89,990.48.
