The following position is available with the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education.

Information Management Manager

Information Management Division
Provide leadership for the information management division. Manage the daily operations, design and development of the agency's data infrastructure to expedite data analysis and reporting that will advance the career and technology education system's ability to make effective decisions and establish strategic direction. Assist in leading the continuous improvement of data collection and reporting. Provide leadership in data advancements and customer-service for our stakeholders.

Requires Bachelor's degree in business, information management, or computer science related field or equivalent industry credentials or a minimum of 5 years in education data infrastructure. Requires a minimum of 3 years' experience in data collection or data processing with emphasis in records management and report writing and analysis. Two years of experience in staff supervision preferred.

Position based in Stillwater, OK

Duties/Essential Functions:
1. Manage the collection, validation, editing, and maintenance of Career and Technology Education offerings, students, schools and other data within the Oklahoma CareerTech Information System database.
2. Manage the Information Management Division team to ensure compliance with legal regulations and ODCTE policies and ensure adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data.
3. Represent ODCTE in internal and external meetings to ensure agency data needs are met and adherence to all state and federal requirements.
4. Collaborate with IT staff to implement processes and quality improvement practices that will improve data submission and data quality.
5. Complete data requests as it relates to Career and Technology Education.
6. Design and implement new data collection applications as needed.
7. Coordinate training activities to internal and external customers in regards to data submission, data quality and data retrieval.
8. Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers in regards to data submission, data quality and data retrieval.
9. Oversee the creation and maintenance of guidebooks, technical guidelines, FAQs, etc. to assist internal and external customers in the submission of data.
10. Provide technical assistance to customers in using software to submit data to ODCTE.
11. Consult with users to ensure that data is being presented accurately.

Salary/Benefits: $61,375.50 - $69,861.82 commensurate with education or experience.
