Oak Ridge Tool-Engineering, Inc. is a privately held manufacturing corporation in Oak Ridge, TN. We offer high-valued added engineering and manufacturing services, including tooling, components, and custom-fabricated mechanical equipment, to the Aerospace, Defense, Energy, and Commercial markets. We have an immediate opening for the following position:

Quality Inspector: Rate of pay is $25 to $35/hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Inspect and test parts/products at receiving, in-process and final inspection points. Document results as defined by the Quality Management System (QMS). Use calibrated hand tools for operational area inspections. Job requires ability to understand and interpret drawings and specifications with an understanding of GD&T. CMM experience helpful but not required.

Prior Experience:

Prior experience with close tolerance machining and/or inspection in an ISO certified manufacturing environment. Hands on experience with calipers, micrometers, scales and knowledge of GD&T.

Education:

Minimum High School graduate or equivalent (GED).
