Local nutrition manufacturing company seeking a full-time, in-office QC Administrative Assistant. Responsibilities include performing diversified administrative functions directly related to the management of general business operations including proofreading product labels and literature. Reports to Quality Director and is involved with the daily activities of the Quality Team and FDA regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities include:
Document review and internal auditing
Proofreading/copy editing
Creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets
Position Requirements:
Desirable characteristics include proficiency in office procedures, proofreading, and written and verbal communications. Must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and suppliers. Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards when no directions are given. Must be able to multi-task. Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook proficiency required. Database programming a plus. FDA/NSF regulatory knowledge a plus. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
