Muskogee First United Methodist Church is seeking a full-time Church Administrator.  Applicants must have either a Bachelor's degree in business or related field or a minimum of five years office management and bookkeeping experience; Applicants must be a committed Christian and regular participant in the life of the church; must demonstrated an ability to manage a consensus decision-making process. Applicants should have excellent verbal and written communication skills; knowledge of computer systems including Word Processing, electronic communication software, membership software and financial reporting/accounting software; timely and consistent attendance and availability in the evenings for church team/council meetings and be flexible to changing systems.  This applicant would be responsible for working hand and hand with the Senior Pastor of the church and the lay leadership of the church, in the day to day operations of the church.  This individual would be responsible for managing other staff within the church.  Working in conjunction with the leadership of the church, this person would also be responsible for marketing and multi-media within the church.  A background check and financial bonding are required!  Position starts at $39,500.00 plus pension benefits. (Health Insurance not included)
