Vice President of Indirect Channels
Hogan Assessment Systems, Inc. seeks a Vice President of Indirect Channels to maintain
ongoing understanding of the addressable global market for competitors, and assessment market trends to determine key areas for business development focus and distributors. Create and implement an international distributor strategy that is aligned with broader business strategy. Participate in business strategy development to ensure voices of global customers and international distributors are fully represented. Serve as trusted advisor to the Board regarding indirect channel strategy. Manage Consultants and Program Managers on International and Solutions Partner teams to foster high performance and engagement. Recruit, hire, onboard, and manage the diverse team of Consultants and Program Managers. Support brand recognition by creating blog posts, webinars, and providing thought leadership at conferences. Engage in local, real-time sales support using outside-of-US-focused strategies and campaigns. Ensure the International and Solutions Partner teams develop a complete understanding of all solutions and underlying scientific foundations. Ensure training and education for distributors and partners on the full range of products and services. Deliver high-quality service in times of heavy workloads and ambiguous situations; create a customer-first culture throughout the indirect channels. Maintain a standard of quick responsiveness
and excellent service for client/distributor questions or requests. Direct and oversee all the indirect channels financial and budgetary activities, including preparing profit/loss, analyzing financial statements, sales reports, and other performance indicators. Create a collaborative culture of ongoing feedback to and within the team to ensure no surprises, accountability, and effective teamwork. Provide primary input to annual performance incentives and bonus for Consultants and Program Managers on the team. Collaborate, mentor, and advocate to ensure products, marketing, processes, and infrastructure support global customer service and growth. Drive top level conversations about products, while pushing down opportunities to local distributors, the Solutions Partners team, or the Direct Team for delivery and service. Provide collaborative support for projects and marketing initiatives driven by all channel partners. Ensure US-based materials are appropriate and context relevant for international needs and/or collaborate with marketing to create region-specific marketing materials and support. Foster cross-channel and cross-distributor collaboration (e.g., on RFPs, large opportunities) on large global opportunities and projects. Requires experience in the personality assessment testing industry, including extended non-US assignments, preferably in Europe, the Middle East, and/or Asia Pacific; Proven success in management consulting, account management, and channel management experience for both US and international clients; Prior senior executive experience, bringing a global executive network to foster top-to-top sales conversations. Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Occupational Psychology or Business, plus 120 months of experience in the personality assessment testing industry. Experience with extended non-US assignments, preferably in Europe, the Middle East, and/or Asia Pacific; Proven success in management consulting, account management, and channel management experience for both US and international clients; Prior senior executive experience, bringing a global executive network to foster top-to-top sales conversations. A strong people leader with the ability to inspire a team, set and achieve targets, and manage career growth and performance. Active involvement in directly applicable professional societies and trade organizations. U.S. and International travel (Europe, Middle East, Asia/Pacific) is required, up to 50% of the time.
