Licensed or Certified Caregivers

Granny NANNIES, a well-respected, state-licensed Nurse Registry, (NR30211304) is seeking licensed and or certified (CNAs/ HHAs) caregivers who have the experience, availability, and desire to provide compassionate and professional “one-on-one” care assistance to the elderly and or disabled adults who can no longer care for themselves.

Possess the following requirements:

• FBI Level-2 background screening clearance.
• CNA License or a 40-hour or 75-hour Home Health Aid Certificate or Diploma
• Physician's Health Statement: Stating that the applicant is free from signs and symptoms of communicable illness. (Must be dated within 6 months before the first client referral)
• Current CPR Certificate (Sponsored by the American Red Cross, or Health and Safety Institute)
• Minimum of 24 hrs. of CEUs (Continuing Education Units) consisting of:
• Bloodborne Pathogens, Infection Control
• Domestic Violence
• Medical Record Documentation and Legal Aspects Appropriate to Nursing Assistants
• Resident Rights
• Communication with cognitively impaired clients
• CPR skills
• Medical Error Prevention and Safety

CNAs/ HHAs should have a minimum of 1 year experience assisting patients with:

• Neurological Disorders, i.e. (Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Sundowners, Parkinson's)
• Fall Risk Prevention
• Bed Bound Care (working with Hospice patients)
• Blood Pressure/ Vital Signs
• Administering Medication and Providing Reminders
• Case Documentation
• Familiar or having experience with Durable Medical Equipment devices i.e. (Shower Transfer benches, Hoyer lifts, hospital beds, wheelchairs, bedside commodes, lift chairs)
• Personal Care (Bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers, ambulation, turning, repositioning)

Compensation:

• $20.00/ hr. for a minimum of 4 to 12 hr shifts per visit.
• Time & 1/2 / hr. for 2 Patients (husband and wife)
• Time & 1/2 / hr. on major holidays 
• .60 cents/ mile compensation during shift. 
• Direct deposits are paid a week after the service has been performed.

$50.00 Sign-On Bonus: Paid to the 1^st 50 applicant qualifiers.

We are currently staffing multiple recurring shifts forew patients in the

Hernando, Lecanto, and Citrus Springs areas.
