GIS-Data Technician
Grand Gateway EDA is accepting resumes for the position of GIS-Data Technician. The position will be a two-year temporary full time position with the possibility of permanent full-time employment. Responsibilities of the GIS-Data Technician include collecting GPS points for community infrastructure elements and digitize mapping those elements, then providing this data to the communities and working with communities to identify infrastructure needs, prioritize needs and develop a plan to correct infrastructure deficiencies. Must have a working knowledge of Garmin GIS mapping equipment and ArcGIS mapping software. An associate's degree in computer science or an equivalent amount of experience is preferred.
Salary will be $35-$38 depending on education and experience.
