Gannett’s B2B Marketing team is looking for a Email Marketing Manager to join our growing team. Reporting into a Director of Marketing, the Email Marketing Manager supports our ambitious vision of driving growth and retention of our B2B business. Your work will be critical in engaging prospects and clients to support the revenue growth for our awards and promotions solutions.
DESCRIPTION:
LOCALiQ is hiring an experienced Email Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. In this role, you’ll be focused on engaging prospects and clients to accelerate revenue growth with local awards and promotions across our US-based markets.
You will bring a rigorous, data-driven approach to the development and optimization of email acquisition, nurture, retention and engagement campaigns. You will deliver impactful results by devising the right strategy of connecting targeted segmentation strategies with compelling copy and creative to drive engagement, leads and revenue.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own focused campaigns from beginning to end, managing timelines, gathering of requirements, creative assets, design and development, audience/lists segmentation, testing, launch and analysis for continued improvement
- Build and maintain a marketing plan and calendar that is visible and accessible to key stakeholders
- Work across the marketing, sales operations, and sales organizations to align email marketing initiatives with the sales strategy
- Own the entire execution of email marketing programs, including working with marketing operations to set up email programs within Marketo, reporting out on results and incorporating key takeaways into future plan development
- Utilize Salesforce CRM software to build segmented audience reports
- Develop an ongoing reporting cadence to management across marketing and sales and optimize campaigns against key metrics including open and CTRs, conversions to opportunity.
- Evolve database segmentation, optimizing return from leads in the database.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Equal strengths in technical (marketing automation program structure) and creative skills (email copy development, content topics, etc.)
- Experience with email marketing, specifically working within a marketing automation platform such as Marketo
- Dedicated and collaborative sales partner. Ability to collaborate and communicate with senior sales leaders about marketing strategy, campaign analytics, ROI and more based on program.
- Strong understanding and experience with inbound and/or field marketing
- Creative copy writing and campaign concepts
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data and interpret the “story” or next steps to take
- Ability to drive consensus, resolve conflict and move a group towards a common goal

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $45,000 and $105,800. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
