We are seeking an experienced multi dealership Automotive Controller for a dealership group in Las Vegas that wants to grow with us, move up and have fun doing it. This position reports directly to the owner and will provide accounting, leadership, and administrative support in addition to maintaining strong financial reporting controls for the dealership group. Qualifications

* Five years previous automotive dealership controller of a fast-paced, multi-dealer automotive group experience is REQUIRED.

* Proficiency with CDK Dealer Management Systems (DMS), preferred but not required.

* Detailed knowledge and experience with dealership OEM financial statements.

* Vast knowledge of automotive accounting, currently or recently serving as a CONTROLLER at a new car dealership.

* Ability to develop successful working relationships with all levels of employees and management.

* CPA background is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

* High level supervision of business office management and team.

* Interprets the financial statement and the daily operating control regularly and informs dealer of developing trends.

* Provides sales and expense analyses summarizing potential problem areas and opportunities for improved profitability relative to monthly and annual forecasts.

* Reports the financial condition of each dealership to the dealer/general manager regularly and accurately.

* Manage and oversee the financial activities of the dealerships.

* Reviews and ensures the integrity and accuracy of corporate designed standard reconciliation submitted by the business offices.

* Supervises the preparation of all information for the CPA to minimize audit or review costs.

* Develop, implement, monitor, and measure accounting policies, procedures, and practices.

* Manage floorplan relationships and flooring procedures.

* Maintain effective cash management and tracking procedures.

* Assist operations with dealership forecasting and budgeting.

* Ensure compliance with the dealership's Standard Operating Procedures and local and federal financial and accounting regulations.

* Ensures that all office personnel are using proper accounting procedures and maintaining accurate records and analyses.

* Manage and safeguard dealership assets and ensure proper financial reporting controls.

* Work with accounting auditor for audited financials, and state and income tax return.

* Work with Human Resources and other senior managers.

* Other responsibilities as directed by the owner.
