Care Hawaii is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Crisis Therapist to join our team.
Crisis Therapist are part of a multi-disciplinary team who provide direct support and intervention to community members experiencing a mental health crisis.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, implementing crisis intervention techniques and coordinating follow-up care. 1:1, face-to-face services are provided in the community
Position Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree from a nationally accredited college or university in counseling, social work, nursing or related field.
-or- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in psychology, social work, substance abuse, nursing or related fields (i.e. LPN, RN, CSAC, LCSW, LMFT, CPRP)
Minimum Experience:
Canidates should possess excellent communication skills, strong clinical skills and experience demonstrating competence in problem-solving, critical thinking, collaboration, and clinical competencies.
1 year of experience in mental health and/or health care setting preferred.
Required Certification/Registration:
- CPR and First Aid (prior or after start)
- TB
- Background Check
- CPI (training provided upon hire)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Vehicle: Current and Valid Documentation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
