If you are a talented maintenance professional who takes pride in their work and is looking to join a great team, look no further!  BAM Properties is looking for a HVAC certified Maintenance Technician with basic plumbing and electrical skills.  BAM Properties is a property management company based in Tulsa, OK with several stunning and dignified commercial properties in its portfolio.  If you are mechanically inclined, good at fixing things and are interested in growing your knowledge and experience in commercial property maintenance, we’d love to hear from you!

 

Minimum requirements include:

  • High school or general equivalency diploma
  • HVAC certification
  • Valid OK driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge/skills
  • Basic knowledge of blueprints/schematics, tools and equipment used in the trade, computers and cell phones
  • Able to work on-call (rotating schedule) and occasional overtime (when necessary)
  • Ability to professionally represent the company
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as needed

 

How You Will Be Successful:

  • Respond and complete service requests/work orders efficiently, courteously and in a timely manner
  • Provide updates to Lead regarding work order status, tenant communication and concerns, suggestive preventative maintenance, observed safety or lease violations, and additional findings that impact the property
  • Resolve maintenance issues while taking measures to maintain a clean and safe worksite
  • Preventative maintenance and repair of HVAC and other mechanical systems
  • Provide tenants with outstanding customer service and represent the BAM Properties brand positively and professionally at all times
  • Ensure optimal functioning and performance of all building systems including structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling, security, access, fire/life safety and elevators
  • During extreme weather conditions, shovel snow, lay down ice melt
  • Walk common areas to determine updates needed
  • Relieve security guards as needed for their other duties
  • Comply with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain valid OK driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Report to work on time in company assigned uniform in a clean and presentable fashion
  • Communicate respectfully both verbally and via email, text, and other various digital applications
