Arkansas Riverbed Authority is accepting resumes for the position of Executive Director.

This position provides professional services, consultation, technical and legal assistance, inspections and/or negotiations as requested by the Arkansas Riverbed Authority Board of Directors in order to preserve, maintain and improve its administration of and interests in the Arkansas Riverbed.

Qualified individual will have the ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices; read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents; respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community; write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format; effectively present information to top management, public groups and Board of Directors; excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external institutions; computer proficiency and ability to operate standard office equipment; be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ten years progressively responsible experience in related field is required.

Juris Doctorate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a minimum of Master's degree. JD preferred. Salary commensurate with experience.
