Job Title: Electrical Designer
Summary: Customer obsessed motor control manufacturer seeking a candidate hungry to contribute the costing and final design of electric panels. This Designer will contribute to internal and OEM projects in the pumping and compression industries. The successful candidate will retain the ability to create or modify 2D wiring schematics and assemble Bill of Materials for electrical control panels. We are willing to train the designer to understand UL508A code requirements.

Core Responsibly: The successful candidate will have the ability to read customer requirements, listen to customer requests and design panel circuitry to achieve said goal. This team member will become integral to the engineering and productions teams. They will need to understand NEC Code. This role requires effective communication skills in a team environment and is based in our Tulsa, OK manufacturing facility.
Day-to-Day Activities:
• Design panel circuitry.
• Communicate with sales team members when clarification is needed.
• Support and advise procurement team.
• Align with leadership on best approach to solve the customer need.
• Be available for customer fact finding calls.
• Be available for customer communication during commissioning.
• Travel occasionally to other production facilities. (Less than 10-days per year)
Requirements:
• Panel design experience.

o SEE Electric experience

Nice to have:
o Electric Technician degree or BS in Engineering, a plus
o PLC and/or Embedded Systems programming experience
o UL508A / UL698A / UL1203 NEC knowledge, preferred
o Experience with electric motor control circuits
o Experience programming VFD’s
o Ability to read wiring diagrams.
o AutoCAD LT dwg experience
o SolidWorks, preferred
