Director of Major Gifts & Grants
Affinity Consulting is conducting the executive search for the Oklahoma Parkinson's Alliance to fill the position of Director of Major Gifts & Grants.
Summary
Reporting to the CEO, you will create and implement a strategic approach to securing major individual and corporate gifts over $5,000 as well as grants. You will work with the CEO and Board to ensure that these fundraising goals are being met.
Responsibilities

Design and execute a strategy to maximize major individual and corporate gifts over $5000.

Identify and pursue grant opportunities to expand outreach and relationships.

Conduct thorough prospect research to identify and qualify potential major donors and grant opportunities, leveraging data analytics and donor insights to inform engagement strategies.

Develop and implement a comprehensive donor stewardship plan in collaboration with the marketing and program teams to ensure consistent engagement, recognition, and long-term donor retention.

Secure new donations to amplify current fundraising events.

Utilize systems to steward and track prospective and current donors.

Manage grants process, including proposals, applications, mid-term and final grant reports in conjunction with program staff.

Support the CEO in preparing fundraising updates to the Board Chair.

Establish and track key performance metrics, including donor acquisition, retention rates, grant success rates, and revenue growth, to assess fundraising effectiveness and guide strategy adjustments.

Assist the CEO and Board Fundraising Team in creating the annual development plan.

Attend community gatherings to form new partnerships with other organizations and funders.
Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree preferably in business, communications, public relations, nonprofit management or a similar discipline.

3+ years of development, annual giving or related experience.

A strong sense of fundraising ethics and practices, and respect for confidentiality of donor information; understanding of database management, gift processing and donor relations.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Salary and Benefits
-
$70,000-$80,000 base salary with performance incentive bonus.

Work will be hybrid (home/office) based out of our Tulsa or Oklahoma City office.
