Description
Primary Responsibilities / Duties
Provides maintenance services for production, technical, and administrative personnel.
Repair or adjust equipment, machines, or defective components.
Examine work orders and converse with machine operators to detect equipment problems and to ascertain whether mechanical or human errors contributed to the problem.
Performs scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment, to detect and prevent problems.
Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools.
Perform tasks related to the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment.
Dig holes or trenches for the installation of conduit or supports.
Thread conduit ends, connect couplings, and fabricate and secure conduit support brackets.
Communicates to Electrician Lead (EL) on any items that could adversely affect production.
Does not disclose Advance Research Chemicals, Inc. (ARC) confidential or proprietary information.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Electrical Lead and Electrical Department Manager.
Requirements
Qualifications
Must have a basic level of electronics and electrical knowledge and understanding.
Must have completed basic electrical safety training.
Must pass background check, pre-employment drug screen and physical.
Quality and Product Stewardship Responsibilities
Reports to EL on-maintenance programs that impact product quality.
Ensures that all non-conforming or defective equipment is removed from service.
Maintains all test equipment.
Informs Maintenance Lead (ML) of any PMP irregularities.
Utilizes only approved vendors for the assurance of quality purchases.
Must be current on all quality system changes and documentation.
Health, Safety & Environmental Responsibilities
Attends and completes all required training to meet regulatory compliance in areas of responsibility.
Complies with ARC EHSSQ policies.
Responsible for reports concerning EHSSQ requirements.
Is fully trained on the site Emergency Action Plan (EAP).
