Prestigious Florida Law Firm seeks to hire a Business attorney with at least 5 years of experience for their Ft. Lauderdale office.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Review and Analysis:
- Thoroughly review and analyze contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to business transactions.
- Identify potential risks, legal implications, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Drafting & Negotiation:
- Draft, revise, and negotiate legal documents, including but not limited to:
- Documents related to the acquisition or sale of business assets.
- Contracts related to joint ventures, partnerships, and corporate restructuring.
- Licensing agreements, granting use of Intellectual Property in compliance with all applicable laws.
- Contracts related to healthcare services, medical equipment, and pharmaceuticals.
- Agreements governing clinical research studies.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Advise clients on legal risks associated with business transactions.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations.
Supervision and Mentorship:
- Lead and supervise junior attorneys within the business transactions team.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development support.
- Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree from an ABA accredited law school.
- Must be a licensed attorney in Good Standing with the Florida Bar
- 5+ Years of Experience: Demonstrated expertise in business transactions law.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to dissect complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
- Negotiation Skills: Proficient in negotiating favorable terms for clients.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and precision in legal documents.
- Team Leadership: Experience supervising and mentoring junior attorneys.
